I agree. I believe they will have a certain number of invitations at each draw date. They will give invitation to whoever got the highest scores in their pool, then goes 1 point lower, and so on until invitations run out. I'm still confused what will happen when there is a tie.Nightrocker said:I think there are no set standards... Whoever has more points then other(s), gets selected.

You will get 600 points for either a job offer or a provincial nomination.sumitpal22 said:you will get 82 for ielts score(22+22+16+22)
and you can get a max of 300 for PNP nomination. and extra 300 for Job offer! please check.
as far as my score is concerned I am scoring 390 out of 1200. No PNP & Job offer![]()
That's how they make sure you have enough points for an invite, as the maximum that people with no job offer or PNP can get is 600.Additional points Maximum 600 points
1) Arranged employment OR 600
2) Provincial or territorial nomination 600
A goal of Express Entry is to ensure strong links between economic immigration and the Canadian labour market. For that reason, qualified candidates who also have a job offer will get enough points to ensure they are ranked high enough to get an invitation to apply.
An employer will need to ensure the job offer is supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment. This process ensures they have first tried to find Canadians to fill job openings.
Similarly, a nomination by a province or territory, will give a candidate additional points to rank high enough to be invited to apply at the next eligible draw of candidates.
