Hi all,

Requesting your assistance to the following inquiry;

I completed my studies - 2 year diploma (I am an international student)

currently on work permit PGWP
Since then I havent got a job in my field as Interior decorator. I was working 6 month as an account receivable. One year as customer service call center.

I was working as an interior decorator on a part time basis but not on a payroll

1) i submitted my profile by putting that I worked as an interior decorator on a full time basis. Do immigration officers check CRA and my pay stubs? Or can I ask the manager to provide a proof of employment that I worked full time?

2) i am still under 363 points and my work permit is expiring in nove. So I am intended to renew/extend my workpermit.
Therefore, do I wait and apply for a job offer?

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards,
Ridwaan

1) This is a very bad idea since you've misrepresented your work experience. IRCC has a number of ways in which they verify your work experience. You're putting yourself at risk of a refusal and also a five year ban from Canada for misrepresentation. You need to correct your profile to show your true work experience.
2) I don't understand what you mean by "apply for a job offer".

I have a question on EE (CEC).

I am on PGWP, and worked on a Noc B job. Later I got layoff due to Covid. Few months later I got a Noc D job.
Can I apply PR through CEC now?

If you have one year of Canadian skilled employment in a NOC A, B or 0 Job, you may be eligible. NOC D doesn’t count towards CEC.
