Hi,

I am about to book my medical, I know that they take your blood samples and do a general check up to make sure there are no issues. I wanted to know if anyone knows if they test for drugs in a toxicology report? I doubt it will be an issue but I use Marijuana on a regular basis and wanted to confirm I don't have anything to worry about before booking.

I've never seen a drug test reference with regard to CIC's medical request but who knows what else is tested for when a blood/ urine sample is obtained, I would say abstain for a week (if possible ;D) before having your medical done.

There is no drug test in medical, but they do ask you about drug/alcohol addition and might order additional tests to verify what you are saying. They are also required to record any substance abuse indicators - like puncture marks and such, but nobody is going to grill you about an smoking some pot every now and then
