Express Entry - CEC Inland landing appointment

Hello All,

Off late I read a lot of bad experience related to landing and flag polling in Toronto for 4 border crossings.
People trying multiple times, long delays etc etc. So Just thought of sharing my experience for in land landing appointment timeliness . My details are below :

Category - CEC Inland
AOR - 23 March 2017
Medical approval - 27 April 2017
PPR - 15 June 2017
Passport send - 17 June 2017
Passport received - 20 June 2017 ( CPC Ottawa)
Application approved - 6 July 2017
Passport return tracker activated - 7 July 2017
Passport received - 12 July 2017

I called IRCC on 12 July around 3 PM to book and appointment for inland landing and lady told that my nearest IRCC office will contact me in 1 months time. I was bit disappointed when she said 1 month , but since I wasnt in a hurry I decided to have a go. Today 14 July ( after 2 days ) , I got appoitment confirmation from Etobicoke office and I got appointment for 31 July 10 AM .

So I think if we can wait for couple of weeks after passport is received , we could complete landing at ease

Thanks the sharing this ... How did Etobicoke cic contact you ? Through mail ?

I called CIC tot day to book an appointment for Etobicoke , agent informed me that wait time to schedule an appointment is 7 weeks but your thread gave me some hope !!!

Yes, Etobicoke CIC send me an email with appointment confirmation (pdf attachment)with date and time.

Received 3 emails , 2 depedants and self.

I am awaiting on the passports for myself and family, I called CIC and they told me that the passports are being stamped. Is it ok if I go ahead and make an appointment with the inland office before receiving back our passports? what information do I need to have on hand to make the appointment?

Did you try calling them and asking?

You can call this number to book your appointment 1-888-242-2100. But they will ask you details about COPR which you will only know once you have it in hand. So I suggest you to wait till you get passports and COPR in hand.
