Hi All,
After going thru many forums, I felt this thread would help me to know more details on EE in CEC class with ICT.
Can someone please help me to guide me thru the next steps and what are the chances of getting selected.
I submitted the EE application, with a score of 393, w/o LMIA as am on ICT. It's been 1.8 yrs am in Canada. The appl became active after creating a profile in Job bank, but I haven't activated it as I don't want my company to know about this, as they would not continue me anymore here.
So, my questions are:
1.) Do I need to activate the profile in Job Bank, if yes, then how can I block my company to view it.
Yes, you need to activate the profile in Job bank in order to be actually in EE pool. Activating your profile in job bank doesn't necessary mean you are looking for a job, if your company asks, just inform them that you are applying for permanent residency and this is part of the required procedure. Why would your company discontinue your employment if they know you are applying for PR? Also you will need a employer reference letter from them later on.
2.) Does CEC class holds any special category in the pool while selecting the profiles.
CEC stream is one of the categories among others such as FSW and PNP in EE. If after being accepted into the EE pool (activate job bank profile), you find yourself qualify both CEC and FSW, make sure your fund available to bring to Canada is lower than $11,932 CAD to be qualified for CEC only, otherwise the system will automatically default your application stream to be FSW (which is slower, if you are inland, then MUCH slower)
3.) Is anybody among you were successfully in getting the PR on ICT.
Yes, it's possible. My program in company is a rotation program which rotates four different positions within two years. Make sure ask your HR to list out detailed job descriptions for each position, NOC code, start/transition date.
4.) Any other ways to increase the score, as I kept ECA for my education too.
* When your working experience past two years, you will get extra points.
* Retake IELTS and get a balanced good score on each area, preferably all CLB 9 or above (high score on one or two areas is not helpful)
Appreciate your cooperation please.
Thanks,
Santosh.
