Hey,
Reading mixed reports on this and whats required. Can anyone fill me in on exactly what's needed? Is it 6 months of all accounts? And also the fact that I have debt as in CC or line of credit go against me? I am in Canada working on an lmia due Intent work permit :)

CEC applicants and those with positive LMIA do not need to show POF

Check below the table

Yes I undertsand that. But I will still have to show bank account information correct? And on these they will state a loan just wondering would this cause me to be declined?

No you dont.
Your job letter stating your salary, pay stubs, t4 ans noa should be enough

Yes but I still need to show financial background and this will show my loan. So would my Application be changed beacuse of it?

I don't know why are you being so persistent with your financial background, if its not needed.
You may avoid it as it is not required. Rest your wish.

If you have yet to receive an ITA then you can you put zero under funds available and then you will not have to show any bank statements post-ITA.
If you already got ITA and claimed to have some funds before, then you must get a 1-page letter from the bank stating you average monthly balance for the last 6 months.

for FSW you always have to show POF.

I have not received ita yet. So can I go back an red edit? And write zero? I am in Canada on lmia but gonna be choose through CEC. So I will not have to show any information then?
Thanks

Thanks so much:) and sorry for the silly questions

Not a silly question, I have submitted my application under CEC with an LMIA and in employment and yes you do have to have a letter from your financial institution to submit, showing all accounts held with them, the date of opening and the average balance over the past 6 months. My bank (RBC) said this isn't possible due to having to work out interest rate per day etc. so they added a line to include 6 months worth of statements and hoped that would be enough.

Good luck!

So I was right dunno why I doubted myself should not listen others I guess. Thanks that's the same bank as me. Could you not just print 6 online statments for the past month of each account?

Something somewhere is wrong. My brother got an ITA under FSW though he was eligible for both CEC and FSW. However, he also had Zero in funds and CIC never asked for POF.

At the end it is CIC they can do whatever they want.

If it is not on the checklist then don't worry until they ask. Also you're not the only one with loans. Most of the people in this country have loans on them and this shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the reassurance I am at 908 points now just created profile so hopeful of next round and I guess I will find out then :)

Yep I did do that, but they need a letter from your Bank too on headed paper etc. RBC waived the $15 fee for me. After you get your ITA and completed the rest of the online info, you'll see your own document checklist.
