I am express entry applicant April 2017 AOR, FSW with provincial nomination from Ontario (OINP).

My security screening started in November 2017.

I received request about my updated CV, project details and updated address in Feb 2021. (First ever request after Nov 2017).

Then in May 2021, they asked for updated police certificates, updated application form, Schedule A, travel history, updated passport pages for me and my wife and our children etc.

After that, my background status changed from "we are processing... " To "Not Applicable". (I think this is NA3)

I applied for GCMS notes through a friend in July 2021, but have not received them.

Again applied for CBSA notes this time through getgcms, hoping to receive them by the end of this month.

Sent email and raised CSE to London visa office, but never received any reply.

Can someone please advise me what should I do now. Its been so long and me and my family is in a continuous wait.

Some people said that it seems my security screening is completed and its just a matter of time that I will receive remedical request soon, is that so?

An expert opinion/advice will be highly appreciated.

Thank you

Woah !
have you come across this news? came out on august 2021

This family’s immigration application was ‘in process’ for 57 months. Now, a judge has given Ottawa 30 days to make a decision.

Can't you sue the IRCC?

We are not in Canada, we are in Pakistan. As far as I know, there is something known as Writ of Mandamus, but for that, we'll need to hire an attorney and it will involve a lot of money :(

let's wait for @legalfalcon to respond to your query. The damned IRCC is ruining many human's lives. You handled the application by yourself i guess, if you hired an immigration solicitor's firm to do it on your behalf then there was a way to go to court as far as i know.
@Naturgrl @scylla

Why don't you mail the new Immigration minister ? Sean Fraser, i hope they won't ignore your situation

sure, I'll definitely email him tomorrow.

It's been more than 4.5 years since we filed our Federal application. Before that, we applied for OINP in JAN 2015 and at that time due to Syrian refugees, they also took 1 whole year for OINP :/ so altogether, it's been more than 6 years we are stuck with this Canadian immigration thing.

Yes, I prepared all the things myself. I had no idea at that time that the whole process will take years.

And now IRCC is into afghan refugees,

You have to mail and bring this into minister's attention! This is the least that should be done. Add application details along with the mail content.

As-salamu alaykum brother!

It seems that someone in IRCC confused you with PM-IK and now waiting for responses from all the former girlfriends :)

Jokes apart, there are lawyers who can possibly do Mandemus on a pro-bono or at reduced rates. @scylla or @legalfalcon can perhaps tell better. I am not sure if I know the right people but pro-bono is a very much of a thing here in Canada.

I am not sure if the owners of campbell cohen can do that... but no harm in asking.

You case is a very typical "unreasonable delay" case.

Try hitting him on twitter as well... Include few major Canadian news outlets like CBC etc too. This is way too much of delay.

Oh Canada!
Your delays are forever!
With all the progressive outlook,
It takes action too!

Update:

Today I logged in to my gckey account. Today the current status has changed to "Application/profile updated" and when I checked application details, background check has changed from "Not applicable" to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

I believe it was NA3 and now it is IP3. Can someone pls shed some light on it.
