Express entry application with or without spouse accompanying

My spouse and I are software Engineers, Can we both apply for EE individually rather than applying together.

What will be the implications if we do this.

Primary Applicant MUST declare ALL his/her dependents in the EE profile.

Calculate CRS points if you are the Primary Applicant and if your spouse is the PA. In whichever case the CRS score is high create EE profile for that.

The higher CRS will anyhow receive the ITA first so no practical use of 2 EE profiles with differeing PAs.
