Express entry Application Status

Hi Friends,

I have registered for express entry in month of Jan15, I got 318 points.
Now recently I have checked the website and it is showing you are not eligible to for express entry.

Any suggestions..

age-33
Btech-yes
experience - 5 years
ielts -6.5 -clb7
funds - i have funds

Please any one help me in this.

Hi,

CIC has made some changes in the minimum funds required. if somebody is having family members as 2 (including himself) and funds less than 14270 then profile is not eligible for express entry.

So I would suggest try to check your eligibility by increasing the funds. If you are eligible then again create a new profile and submit.

I am assuming that you have your ECA done.

Note- Many people have got such Not Eligible updates from CIC.

Note: We update these numbers every year based on 50 per cent of the Low Income Cut-Off totals. If you filled out your Express Entry profile before January 27, 2015, you may have received correspondence that your profile has been reassessed. You may want to double-check that you still have enough money, based on the new cut-off, to support your family if you immigrate to Canada. This change is small but there is a chance it could affect your eligibility.

funds are updated as CAD is influenced because of the decrease in EURO money, check funds,
or depends on the date of your IELTS exam, if it is more than 2 years, than you need to take a new test

Thanks for the reply...I have done my ielts in July 2014..
I showed my funds as 10 lkhs.
Eca is done for only B tech,...i done my MBA correspondence but they have not considered in eca.

Have you done your ECA from WES? I think WES is not recognizing distance MBA programs....

Put 12,000 cad. I think it wont be a problem for u 2 make them. Cuz minimum fund is somewhere around 10.740 and not only 10.000
