Express entry application, confused about upfront medical exam

Hi,
I have been invited to apply for PR through the express entry program.
I have collected almost all of the documents (education diplomas, employment records, proof funds, etc.) but to be able to submit my application a proof of upfront medical exam is required.

But on the official Canada immigration website it says:
"As of October 1, 2023, you no longer need to get an upfront medical examination before you submit your application for permanent residence through Express Entry."

I don't get it. I don't have health issues but I checked and the nearest physician to take the exam is hundreds of km from where I live. So I'd rather not take the exam for now and wait for further instructions.
I am in my 40s and was wondering if the upfront medical exam is required for me for age reasons or if it appears as a requirement for everybody.

I could not find information about it on the different forums and I am surprised that there aren't more questions about it.

So is the medical exam required ? Should I upload a blank document ?

Rgds

Replying to myself and others who might be interested.

I have found other directives here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence.html
If you've never had a medical exam
  1. Upload a blank document in the upload field of the Express Entry Profile Builder when submitting your application.
  2. Wait for us to send you further instructions on when to get your medical exam.
So I'll just do that, we'll see.

Hi! I'm curious how did it go with uploading a blank document?
I'm also confused because I have to upload something on my express entry application for the medical exam and for my police letter. Did you get the police letter to send with your application?
Thanks!
