Express entry application after AINP

Hello All,
I have already applied for the PR after I received the AINP. My file reached the CIC office on Nov 19th, 2014 and I am still awaiting for the AOR. I just want to check if i can apply under Express Entry with my Provincial Nomination if Yes, will that be a good option to go for as I will have two files in process at at time. Please guide. Thanks.

I guess you can apply but it's better to call CIC and check. In case you have two applications in the system then at certain point of time they will contact you and ask you to withdraw one of them

There is no point as you already submited your PR application , you are already half way through, why take a place for another person who is stiil waiting for a chance to get PR ?

You can only have one application under PNP , EE is a selection system, the only advantage will be the promised six month processing times if you get ITA but you will have to cancel the one already submited as you are applying with the same PNP nomination.
