As far as I know, yes.
My PR app # coincides with my EE profile number and it is the number I use to access my ECAS and some other things.

Ahhmm, when can you get PR application number? is it same format as EE number?

Once u r accoeted to the pool u will receive the express entry profile number, once u receive the ITA then it becomes u r application number, which is same again once you submit the application to CIC.

Thank you so much for your replies. Sorry for the disturbance. I just wanted to know about these numbers because I actually didn't go thru Express Entry Profile. I hired a consultant and he do all the job. He said he already submitted all my papers and he received a pre-approval letter and gave me the file number. That is why I was confused if the one that he gave is the EE number or the application number. Now I can't determine coz the 2 are the same.

We send our application on august 5, got aor same day, they began processing it on August 11 and requested schedule A for co-aplicant same day. We submitted it later that day. Our medical is passed, background check in progress and today we noticed that there is "decision made" in ECAS. There is no decision explanation, just this. In mycic everything is same, application is open and background check is in progress. This all is happening too fast so I think they rejected us... what do you think guys?

Maybe someone else has already mentioned this but just to be sure I want to mention a Tip from my side.

Remember to carry your LATEST Proof of Funds or LATEST Proof of Employment or latest payslip.
The proof of fund or Proof of Employment you submitted with your application is no more valid for them.

As you know, I've been on a roller coaster and just waiting for that last email makes me nervous! I've never been that nervous in the entire process despite all the pumps... Don't know if they send the batch emails during the week or by Friday... that would seem the longest week ever!

Background check is still not started for me.
Aor- 29th may
ITA- 17th Apr

Can someone suggest and/or has similar issue ?
How soon can I expect next movement to happen ?

Its simple every one having same status. for myself since June 2 no movement in my file. Application in process Aug 13/14. after that nothing changing.

It's been more than a month of no sign... This is my second application. First was rejected because of expired IELTS exam.. :'(
