I understand the frustration. Your points total seems to have been completely ignored. I have noticed a pattern with FSW applicants waiting much longer. I just don't get it. I thought it would have been based on both points scored and time of app submitted. Wish you luck on hearing something soon.

I should have declined the FSW ITA during the first draw and waited for CEC invitation instead. If I only knew that CIC prefers CEC applicants than FSW I should have done that. Been waiting for almost 4 months now. Seeing April and May applicants getting DMs and PPRs is just pain in the a**. Getting 1000+ is nothing when CIC not even touching your file!

I'm not sure if FSW is longer. I just seem to think these are quicker.
I am CEC and I see people with FSW around same timeframe as me getting PPR while I don't see anything happening since May 5th

hello, i have a question to ask, my son is born here in Canada , we are applying for EE under CEC under NOC 6211, he just turned 10 months and 20 days old, do we need to have a medical exam for him too or i just attach his AHC, my check list actually created (asking for his medical exam proof) ,his birth certificate and passport copy.

any response will be really appreciated.

my time lines are

ITA received on 31 Jan

Application submitted on 11 March
Application cancelled on 26 April ( due to ielts exam results)
Resubmitted EE new profile on 28 June
ITA received on July 10 ( 966 points)

I have the same question! Please help! Do they need medical exams even if they are Canadian and living in Canada?

i feel your pain - i didn't even know we could decline an invitation! i've been waiting since end of feb

FSW applicants like us who has 4+ yrs experience in skilled position in Canada should be given CEC ITA instead. They trying to look us dumb waiting forever for the DM whilst CEC applicants were given priority.

It s not the case. I filed application under CEC on March 5 and Ecas 'in progress' since June 3, still waiting for outcome.

I got ppr today! Needless to say Im over the moon. My Ecas still 3 lines with wrong dates. Mycic still shows what I have in my signature. I didnt have any documents request, Only one update email on Friday and ppr request this morning.
