Hello People

I just got a rejection letter from CIC and feeling soooooo depressed and demoralized :(.

The reason for rejection is that I didn't submit a police clearance certificate for my stay in England during my master's program. Now the reason why I didn't provide a police clearance is that I did not stay in England for up to 6 months at a stretch. I entered UK on 25 Sept, went back home on 17 Nov, got back in 24 Nov, went back home again 12 Dec, got back in 05 Jan, went back home 08 March, went back to UK 01 Apr and then came home on 19 May. The reason why I wasn't stable in UK was that I was expecting a child so I had to be in touch with my doctor at home.

Please can anybody advise me on what to do? Is it possible to re-open an application that was closed for this reason? I'm so confused.

My timelines are as follows:

ITA - 17 April 2015
Application submission - 30 April 2015
Category - FSW from within Canada with CRS of 458
Rejection letter from CIC - 30 June 2015

This is making me worried. I did not submit any police certificates because I was in Canada since I have turned 18 and I never stayed in any other countries for over 6 months consecutively. I submitted a letter of explanation along with the CIC website screenshot to explain why I didn't submit any police certificates.

Wow so sorry about that. I think they just looked at your educational history and assumed that since you spent a year in the UK doing your Master's then you should provide a PCC. I'm not even sure they looked at your personal history for the gaps. Quickly send a CSE for them to reopen your case. Please can you tell us what the status of your ECAS was before you received your decision? Was it Application received or in process? Thanks.

Hi Jaffa
Thanks for your suggestion
I ordered my notes in May and I got them in June and it had an application due date of 13th June.
I didn't order the GCMS notes again because I don't want to annoy CIC guys :(

everyday I just keep hoping a magical email is gonna pop up and at the same time keep fearing from a not so magical email.
