Hi Guys,

It never stops. I came to Canada on closed permit. Its been only 6 months. I received ITA for FSW(my previous experience). I did landing and I am PR in 6 months. I want to leave this job but confused because of rules and conditions. Can i leave current job and be free? The officer at border said me that you are free to work anywhere you want. I know answer is YES but i would really appreciate comments on this.

And here is the proof for that. See Section 6 (2) under Mobility Rights ---> http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/Const/page-15.html

As a citizen or PR, you are free to relocate and work wherever you want in Canada.

Rights to move and gain livelihood

(2) Every citizen of Canada and every person who has the status of a permanent resident of Canada has the right

(a) to move to and take up residence in any province; and
(b) to pursue the gaining of a livelihood in any province.

Should I freak out????

I logged into mycic and opened up my PR application and all I can see is this

Application/profile status
Application status is currently unavailable. Please try again later.

I tried a couple of times and still receiving the same message , my ecas is still the same with 2 lines.....

CIC trying to spook me?!?

It happens often. No need to freak out!
Sometimes even this forum doesn't load properly. Normal technology glitch. It has happened with most of us. Relax!

my ECAS was updated to "Decision made" three days after myCIC showed "approved". I think different department/segments are responsible for each update and the information we see may be dependent on how fast the info are being transmitted to the departments.

Congrats anyway.

Great week, seems quite a few got their PPR's. Congrats!
My ecas is still not accessible. I resign to ignore that issue altogether n just wait for myCIC background check to start. Been emailing n calling them to fix this but no reply.

Hi guys
finally my ecas changed 3 lines.
Nice! Good to see the rest of us super-seniors finally getting through.

My ECAS is still 2 lines at In Process even though everything else is finally progressing well.
