Is it ok or maybe they still not reviewing my application? Because as i been reading all of your post you guys all have 3 lines...

i'm fsw ita 7 feb in canada - AOR 2 mar - and i only have 2 lines... received and meds --- if that makes you feel better

Just that the applications and medicals were received.
Don't stress, I received this little piece of news now, but it's been 2 months since they started the background check and stuff. I was needing some sort of sign from the universe, since I'm applying BOWP now, my current permit is about to expire. I was freaking out!

When did you apply?

I got a request to sent my passport, photo and bio data form to Ottawa. Could you help with these questions?

- Does this mean my PR is approved?
- How long after getting the PR do we need to land in Canada. I am at present outside Canada and would like to make a planned transition to Canada.
- Is the PR a sticker? Is PR like a sticker that get stuck in my passport? Why do they need my passport?
- How long will they keep the passport? Just planning in case I have to travel for some emergency.
- I see PPR written everywhere in this forum. What is that?

Guys, anybody did RCMP clearance fingerprinting in Edmonton?
Where did you go, if so?

I wasn't asked to obtain one from CIC for PR application, but I'm leaving Canada for a few weeks and I'm afraid if they request one I wont be able to come back on time.

I followed goverment's link that lead me to some "optimum security" agency which is located in Edmonton (They do not reply to my e-mails or answer calls) so I was wondering is it possible to go to a local police station or it has to be RCMP office?

I went to the local police office and my report arrived in about a week. I am not in Edmonton but the process should be the same.

Do not be in a hurry to send it to Ottawa as there might be restrictions in couriering your most important document to another country. Others have had similar requests and they have got positive replies to their mails sen to CIC confirming that they can get this done in their country of residence. Send a mail to CIC for next steps and await their reply before doing anything.

Within 1 year or before your medicals expire, whichever is earlier.

It's a visa stamp in your passport - obviously they can't do it without having your passport.

- How long will they keep the passport? Just planning in case I have to travel for some emergency.

2-4 weeks seems to be the usual timeline.

Hello Senior,

I just wanna ask about my work permit, going to expired,

I apply BOWP using my AOR on May 20, 2015, my EE application is on going, and my ecas status is Application Recieved
and my agency planning to apply me again my work permit extension using LMIA file number, this coming july 1.
my work permit will expired in july 10, 2015.

my question is , is it ok to have double work permit application,?
do I need to hold the another work permit extension, untill desion made to my BOWP application is done?

my agency didn't know I'm already applied my own work permit (BOWP) using my AOR.
cause I didn't see in cic website that prohibiting double application.

Hi guys, my application got cancelled 3 weeks ago due to incomplete document specifically passport. Is there anyway I can appeal to re-assess my application cause i've read somewhere that some application got cancelled/rejected were re-open again. I would like to give it a shot for I'm pretty sure that I uploaded everything there. Plus I'm seeing some cases that officer is asking for missing documents (some cases). I really dont know what happened there but this is just frustrating. I created another profile after Receiving the amail and still waiting for another ITA on the next draw. For those who experenced the same thing or anyone who can give me idea on what to do will highly appreciated.best of luck to all of us guys!
