@ Jaffa83, I have another question. The letter requesting RCMP Record Check says that only my husband has to submit the criminal record check, however, when I log into my CIC profile, the upload link is under my personal documents, not his (hope that makes sense). Should I upload only his criminal record check, or upload mine as well, just in case.

Yes, You should upload at your profile as you're the Primary applicant and any documents they ask even for the dependent will be submitted by the primary applicant's documents. So far CIC did not have the upload buttons for the dependents separately.

@PJR3055, you may expect a positive response on your file from CIC soon.

It won't replace your old passport submission, it will be added to your file. They'll be able to see both. This isn't something you need to be worried about. Just try to relax.

Thanks.

this is getting from WORRYING to ALARMING for us now ..

I received PPR on 12th and am supposed to provide my passport in 30 days, but already 10 days have passed and CPC CTD Ottawa office hasnt replied yet to make alternate arrangements in New Delhi VO for CoPR stamping ..

I have tried mailing them multiple times and calling CIC helpcenter (they responded to wait for mail response) and I am not sure what else I can do..

This is absolutely crazy from them ..

Have you tried faxing them? I thought that was an option?

Since there is no RCMP in vancouver instead of Vancouver Police Department (VPD), so go to VPD Headquarter to order it with fingerprint.
Add: 2120 Cambie St, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4N6
It takes about 10 days and you will receive the report by mail.

Thanks!

RCMP stations are in Burnaby and Surrey. You may get them from there.

For some reason I though that the courier service won't accept passports from anyone else except myself or an agent. Am I wrong?

Not sure, haven't looked into it because I don't have anyone in Canada anyway.

I'm in the same situation since June 16. Not sure if fax is better than email? Does anybody have any experience regarding this?

Everybody who got PPR request currently residing in Canada and have spouse or other dependent living abroad and cant even bring der passports to Canada try this trick ( Suggested by CIC Agent )

Send your Passport alone to Ottawa including a letter of explanation to make arrangements to print visa at another office for spouse and dependents.

I read it in CIC website somewhere that Visa office/officer can first issue COPR to the principle applicant and then to the accompanying person(s). So if your granted permissions for your spouse to submit der passport somewhere else in world , they cant get immigrant stamp till you didnt get immigrant stamp ..

So if CIC is not replying to your email for change of passport stamp office for your spouse then try this method as it is suggested to my friend by CIC Agent today ..

Hope this will help .....

DOnt forget to Eat Pizza at Ppjhns .. Lol..........
