until you don't want to face that problem then you hooped like me

As per my experience, if you are need to ship/receive within Canada - Canada Post is the best
And for any international shipment - "Fed EX" the best.

Canada Post is reliable and I having been here in Canada for more than 3 years and never had an issue. I Agree to some extent with fact that FedEx is the best option when you ship to/from USA. They employ CBP customs officers and pay for their salaries instead of by the US Govt. so the shipments will be released very fast. For Europe DHL/UPS are best in terms of cost.

@cosgrec..You may expect something soon from CIC.

@ bud_weiser....so unfortunate!! Hope they can trace yours back and will send that to the office. Have you contacted the CIC office and updated them regarding the issue?

AHAAAAA grrrrrrrrrrrrr great Canada post lossed my passports sending it to Ottawa. Its been 3 days passed due now they have escalated it to the investigation team .................I would suggest Currier service to Ottawa not Express post . Told the agents 3 times its important to find it it is not a xmas card to my granny the 3rd agent actually did it right. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( :'(

What does the tracking information says? Can you access it online?

Express Post lost track of my buddy's PR application in April of last year and he was very worried for 2 weeks bud_weiser, but it turned out they had delivered it correctly and on time but they just hadn't recorded this correctly and lost track of it, so there is a good chance that your passport has delivered and you will be ok. Best of luck

The same thing happened to me when I was mailing my Provincial Nominee application. It appeared that they lost the package (it was missing for a week). They didn't know what had happened, and after endless fights with them, it turned out that the package was delivered 2 days after it was sent, but the driver forgot to ask for signature. Nobody from Canada Post bothered to tell me that. I found out after BC PNP charged my credit card.... So maybe your passport is delivered as well.

I got COPR (confirmation Of Permanent Residency) along with some landing formalities documents.

--FYI

I've this update today
