Yes it means you are good to go and they requested your passport

Ok, so likely that your file will be approved, how long after PPR would you get your COPR?

Hi everyone
Just want to share my good news with you
I got my PPR today and someone on the forum is correct cos I also think CIC always issue PPR on Wed
and it cleared out some of my questions from before

Even if you are from a visa exempted country ( like me ) but you will still get a Passport request, it is just that you only need to send your passport copies, 2 immigration photos, Request letter and BIODATA ( this is actually just a piece of paper where you need to fill in your application #, name, height and eye color ) then send all above to Ottawa then just wait for CIC to send you the landing paper

All of my suffering is about to go to the end and wish everyone else here good luck ;D

Congrats !.. finally!!!

Now at least you are not the last one from first batch but I might be :P

Once you receive a Passport Request, you have 30 days to submit the passport.

It might be because the receiving section did not passed it through the same day and may be misplaced somewhere. It happens and it's normal with CIC. You can see this info in Non-EE threads.

Congrats to all those who got the PPRs today!! You guys please share your experiences and keep helping our folks.

guys for a passport request, for a non visa country, you have to copy your passport. now is this the whole passport or just stamped pages anyone know?
TIA
