My ECAS only shows the following two lines:

ECAS (Application Received)
1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 12, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

I don't have a second line with ' we have started processing your application' and my dates have not been updated! I'm beginning to worry now as I have not been requested a Schedule A either and most applicants who applied around the same time did.. Anyone else in the same boat with just two lines as above?

However, I submitted my RCMP PCC and RFPR fees along with my application and am not expecting updates on those.

Don't worry you will see the 2nd line when they actually begin processing your application. They were updating the files with some criteria which we never know.

Thanks esantos, i realised this after i was told to submit the Schedule A Background information and the Additional Family Information. The Period in question was an unemployed period In my online application the mistake i had made was to enter November instead of March, Everything remained the same including the period from March were all accounted for. Naturally should not be a problem cos it was an honest mistake. Do You have a number i can reach cic by thanks.

Yes, absolutely. I always call them through this number: 1 (888) 242-2100

Hi Friends,

Finally done by landing on Saturday June -6th.

My suggestion dont go on weekends and in peek times.. I faced horrible waiting period.
It almost took 8 hrs for completing landing formalities. It is just 10 min to complete the landing formarlites task.. but waited in the queue for 8 hrs.
I went at 1:30 PM aftenoon and came out at 9PM night.

I suggest you go before 9 AM or after 8PM.. it will be fast.

Thanks
Giri

Hi Giri, congratulations on the PR!!! :D

In which border office did you do the landing formalities?
I am still waiting for updates on my application but it would be good to know, just in case CIC is feeling generous and speed up some applications ::)

Your timeline is a thing of beauty SuSha, PPR just 1 month after submitting your application. You must have gotten a hell of a VO

Tough to say as there are multiple factors including, but certainly not limited to, the following..

1. What does your ECAS say?

2. What is your timeline? Which draw/program/CRS score?

3. Applying from inside/outside Canada?

The client application status is open. I have filed my PR under the Express Entry category from Canada. My Express Entry score is 1083. I received the AOR on April 29th.

Review of eligibility Passed
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview
A background check is needed Complete
A final decision has been reached This application has been approved

I think we can only wait until we get passport back as we are already sent it.

last Friday I called CIC they said 2-3 weeks time and they asked me to call after 2 weeks if I wont get my passport back......

I know generally it takes 10 days but I don't know why they are taking more time....

Hello everyone,

I have been reading this forum since April and I found it to be very informative. I think with the help of you guys I can get alot of necessary information. My husband is in Canada and he has submitted his application and waiting on a response from cic.

I think joining this forum can help us get through this waiting process easier :)
