This seems a technical glitch

Mine has updated today from

1.We received your application for permanent residence on January 31, 2015.

2.We started processing your application on January 31, 2015.

(which were the dates I made my profile and got the ITA)

to:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on February 20, 2015. (this was the date I got my ITA for FSW cancelled and it was redrawn under the CEC category)

2.We started processing your application on April 14, 2015. (no idea what the significance of April 14 is).

alde81 - Not to freak you out, but, when my file was returned last year, ECAS showed 'We received your null on XXX, 2014.' In my understanding, null means they've returned your file. I could be wrong, but this is what happened with our file!

I think null means fst, it refers to the category.

Hi folks,

Have notice some thing strange in ecas

Shows only two lines application received and medicals have been received
Status is application receieved.

Earlier it used to show my application was receievd in feb , no it says march 12 th the actual date.

Any ideas?

Exactly the same showed up in my ECAS today.

Don't worry folks...CIC has lots of bugs in it's EE process.

They might comeback soon and says..Oops!! we sent invitations to all of you coz of a system bug!! (juzz kidding)

So true.. Whats worst for me is that in MY CiC my medical went PASSED on April 30 and i noticed it to be NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME as of May 17 - Quite alarming - but there is nothing that i could do really..

Let's wait fingers crossed. They did this to me before like, I am one of those whose file reached CIO-Sydney in Nov 1st week for CEC but they did not had a count of in-take applications and they did later by End of Jan and First week of Feb and returned my file. It is so disgusting with them. At least they should have the tracking mechanism when they implement cap and I believe there were almost 5,000 CEC applications returned and all of us paid the postage fee of at least $30 around the world. Most interesting joke they cracked is that "Good Luck with your EE application" in their explanation letter they sent along with the returned application.

Please i need your help, i submitted my application yesterday and i got AOR yesterday. But on the letter it states that they received my application on the 22nd of May which is today.

I am confused as to why the date is 22nd of May and not 21st of May.

I can can access my ECAS and it says in process

Please any body have a clue as to why the dates don't correspond?

Same happened to my friend, ECAS changed to null before his cancelation letter received after a we.Very frustrating and alarming!
I noticed mine also changed from 3 lines into 2 lines today with the different date than before .
Anyone also sees any changes in their ECAS status today?

So many people found changes in their ECAS, but this is the only case so far having "Null".

Would like to confirm with the people whose ecas status was in process before...

Your's ecas was updated to Inprocess earlier, can you see what your ecas shows !!

I think when you submitted your file, the time has passed to the next day in UTC. This is the Time Zone that CIC follows. Same happened with my app as well. So there is nothing to worry.

Now
Ecas status is app receieved with two lines
App recieved on march 12
Medicals have been received

Now there are only 2 lines;

--We received your application for Permanent Resident on May 12 (That's when I applied)
-- We have received your medical results

As far as I know, null refering to fstp, correct me if I'm wrong. Can you ask your friends category?
