Relax, im about same timeline as you, only applied 1 wk earlier. Background check not started so far as I applied from outside canada. Last I heard back from Sydney VO that my application was being processed in Ottawa office. Hope to hear good news, fingers crossed.

Are you applying from inside Canada? All those who have got PPR's are from ITA recipients from Jan & Feb draws and they are all already in canada. I guess CIC does have their priorities in processing the applications. hope you see positive progress soon!

We have been waiting for very long time too. Looking at the trends so far, we can notice that they processing the applications who were submitted in March and got their AORs in March (mostly). This does not meant hat those who submitted in FEB were not yet completely cleared. So far, the cancellations and approvals were seen from those who submitted in March and FEB. Guys, correct me if I am mistaken.

No Jaffa,i see few people from April receiving their PPR....that the discussion we were having on another thread...

Why don't you send a case spec enq saying that you have the PCC ready for submission and waiting for the CIC to send a PCC request? This might speed up your process...may be!! Try it!! Good luck
Thanks, I just submitted the case spec enq and explained and uploaded the PCC. Hopefully it will help.

I was also wondering with the changed rules, if they keep the PCC's from before. We applied for a workpermit in 2013 and included a Thai PCC at that time. Since my wife was no longer living in Thailand at that time, the PCC should still be valid according to the new rules.
So would they consider the previous one as well?

Seniors, I have a query,

Here is my scenario

EE profile I've added 3 jobs

1. Current job-in Canada
2. Previous job also in Canada, worked for 5 months
3. Previous job - same as number 2 job
I haven't awarded points from number 2 & 3 jobs in EE. I've got points and qualified for CEC from current job.
I have employment reference letter for all 3 jobs, but number 2 job reference letter is not included job title salary hours per week means it's in not proper details. So my agent said delete this job from PR application as it doesn't have proper employer reference letter also you haven't got any point of this this job , even you can delete both jobs, which you haven't get points. Would that be good idea to delete any information from PR application, which I listed in EE profile already!!!

I can't delete these two jobs from original EE profile; however I am deleting this job from PR application.

My query:

I am wondering does original EE profile and PR application has to be match?? My agent said doesn't matter even, if it not match EE and PR application, you won't be in a trouble. He also said anything not carrying points you can remove from PR application. Please advise me if can do so.
Thanks in advance.

It really feels wrong when they pick up files randomly and do update on something submitted just last week while other people are waiting from 2-3 months for any slightest hint of update
