Anvar Im sorry to hear that... Just need a clarification pls.. In your passport did you include all the stamped pages and visa as well??? A lil bit scared cos i did'nt put mine.

I scanned all my pages, including the work permit which was stapled to a page - because on the back of it was a re-entry stamp from Toronto airport, otherwise I may have skipped the WP.

The instructions really are too vague for such an important process

I submitted my application last night and received my AOR within 5 min, but the interesting part is when I looked at my AOR, the date on the up left corner is April 24, 2015, which is correct. BUT in the main text " This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada was received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) via your MyCIC account on February 05, 2015" The date becomes February 05!!! When I logged in ECAS, it shows We received your application for permanent residence on February 5, 2015. We started processing your application on February 14, 2015. What a joke!! Did you guys experience similar thing like that?

yes I had the same. Submitted mine this morning and my date is Feb 4th

incidentally, I dont think 'this' AOR is anything - its just an automated response. The one we are waiting for (i.e. to get a BOWP) only comes when they have assessed your application and deemed you eligible. Once your eligibility status changes, then you get a central AOR which can be used to extend work permits

the AOR we have now is almost like a FEDEX delivery signature - doesnt mean they've checked the contents of your package yet :)

good luck

Thanks man, at least I know I am not alone ;)

Do u think, your's cancled bcoz your lmo expired.

I hope that's not the case. I was talking to a consultant before I even created my EE profile and he said that even though my LMO is expired, I should still use that to apply, and that's what I did..

I am just curious especially for those who received their PPR already, what program or software did you use to merge your pdf files especially bank statements so they will be just in one file? I tried using adobe acrobat but it won't let me merge files without entering a password as it is a secured pdf file? help pls thank you
