Hi guys, i want to share this with you, because probably you are checking all the time your account as I did last month..

"My CIC" changed only when they returned my passports and approved my PR
so.. the only reliable tool is your ECAS. On your "My CIC" it just changed the medical result to passed. all the rest changed when I got the passport back.


If your ECAS status shows:
1 We received you app on..
2 We started to process your app on..
3. Medical Result Received.

Then you should get the passport request email any moment.

If your Ecas status shows same as above just need to check your inbox email.

Andrew1982, I have a question for you, so lucky to find you active in this thread. My ECAS status was "In progress" when I first became able to log into it, but a week later it changed to "Application received". Did it change that way for you as well? Did your ECAS show "In progress" or "Application received" the month before you got your PPR?

Andrew, one question: My Background check changed from In Progress to Not Needed at this time. Does it matter? Did it change to same for you, or it went to Complete.

In my Document Checklist, documents like birth certificate or IELTS or ECA are not asked for. I was wondering if it is normal or I have to provide these documents along with other relevant documents?

Welcome to the club. My application just got cancelled after 2-1/2 months due to a "missing education credential assessment". I don't know if the document was really missing due to a technical glitch, or if they weren't happy with the one I provided for some reason (it was a professional license and a letter of explanation - there is no diploma for my profession).

They just straight up cancelled everything without saying a word. The letter of rejection doesn't explain anything other than it claims that the document was "missing".

I still have an open work permit for this year, but man this is getting frustrating.

Bro, what was your ECAS status when they cancelled your EE application because it took almost 3 months before they made a decision.

Cic said this morning once central intake office cancel it, there is nothing you can do. I've had a letter saying it's due to specifically the passport not being uploaded. Howeve I'm sure you can't send without it being uploaded. So there seems to be some computer error.
Anyway it's been cancelled. I have to enter new EE profile and try again.
I wouldn't mind but they could of at least have given me an opportunity to re upload it.

I've been silently following this thread for a while now, and just wondered if anyone had applied for BOWP using AOR from the FSW scheme and if so any luck?

- theres been sporadic comments about EE CEC BOWP.... I was one of those who was eligible for both FSW and CEC, and didn't think it would make any difference / not possible to change streams, so submitted under FSW, but now only have 5 weeks left on my current WP, so trying to work out options.

- i know on the CIC website it says about waiting for the Final Determination of Eligibility for FSW scheme, but that seems a little outdated with the way applications are being processed at the moment. I've tried ringing CIC a couple of times, but mixed responses...

I've finally received an update on my account today.

Although my medicals are still: not needed at this time :-\
I've submitted my application on March 28, received AOR 2 weeks later.
