yes..my cic says passed...ecas says medical received .

My medical passed on the same day yours ...

at-least on your ECAS its showing medical received ... my ECAS just shows 2 lines Application recieved and we started processing thats all.. good thing you have 3rd medical received.

I feel we need to focus status which is there in MYCIC rather than trusting on ECAS.. what do you think on this.

By the By whats your background check status ... is it in progress ?

MY ECAS lines are as follows :

We received your application for permanent residence on January 30, 2015.

We started processing your application on March 7, 2015.

I hope you have same lines in ECAS

Why your background taking soo long ? ......

Like did you provided all documents like PCC and ECA?

Hello! i'd like to ask those with PPR if anyone tried making an appointment to the nearest office of your Residence? I cant seem to get into their callcenter. Thank you!

31JAN ITA Received
19FEB Application Submitted
20FEB AOR Received
20FEB Review in Progress

No updates whatsoever... You're lucky at least to access ECAS. The ECAS system don't even have my application.

I understand you. Never updated for me as well whatsoever...

How many days takes eligibility verification?
1 week or more?

I'm not sure if it will be accepted. My WP expired on monday, so I couldn't wait anymore. The waiting time for online processing is 50+ days, so I hope to have some status updates that allow the BOWP to continue.
At least now I can continue working, and I'll see what happens. My employer also submitted a WP extension application in parallel with an LMIA application. That's on paper, so almost 90 days of processing. So in case the BOWP is not approved, I still have the other option.
And with some dreaming, maybe my PR application is finished before the processing of these WP applications...

Please keep us updated. I am in a very similar situation, although, my WP expires in august, my employer doesn't have a new LMIA for me... (I applied with my old LMO).
I called twice about this issue, and one rep told me that "depends on the officer that takes your case", and the other said that I need to wait until my status changes to "passed".
I personally think that BOWP shoul be a straight forward process, like if your papers are expiring and no assessment has been made, we should get the extension as per something like imply status, right?

I really don't know what to do... my boss helped me a lot so far, but he is not a friendly guy to be asking any more favours to.

Do you think is it better to request a visitor's visa until a decision is made? otherwise I have to leave canada...
does anybody knows how long is the process to get a new LMIA and permit? like estimate...?

And thank you guys! it is nice to find the support around here! :)
