Me too . Week 10 and not a sign of any movement.
same here!!!

I guess it totally depends on the individual application.
Mine is in "Eligibility Review in Progress" for a long time now. I blame it on the PCC that CIC gets from the NZ authorities which probably takes a couple of weeks. Could also be the whether or not you have a spouse, how many dependents, visited countries, number of jobs, etc.

I'm sure the one's that are already through have very, very simple applications/lifes.

That is quite interesting. One question:

Did your case get visible on 19th march in ECAS or ECAS said that your processing started on 19th March?

yes it got visible on ecas on 19th march

Somebody should create a group for applicants who are waiting since more than two months after submitting their applications.

does anybody here had an experience getting a japan PCC here in CANADA??? How long it took for you to get it? Thank you so much!

What I am interested in is why who's process is fast or slow. My process is almost sticking...

I think CIC is processing as per the Score, so no matter when u submit the application or even receive the ITA, u r application will be processed as per your score.

There isno point in guessing only cuz it's... Well... Just guessing...

It is what it is, some are faster, some slower, as long as we get it, I'm fine.

All the opinions expressed untill now can be chevked by reading the posts.

The conclusion is - no pattern.

And if only this thread would be about progress and ppl who got AOR, not with always the same questions...

How difficult is to use google?

For so many simple questions? All over again??

From studying this thread, I think the applications that have been processed quickly are people who are already living in Canada or who have LMIA.

2-3 months via Japanese embassy in Ottawa. When I applied for it last year, it took about 2 months.
If you need to submit PR application before that, Japanese embassy will give you a letter confirming that you applied for a PCC and it takes 2-3 months. There is no charge for the letter, but you have to ask them to write one.
