I'm beginning to think canada doesn't want tradesmen!?

I believe CIC is processing applications based on Express Entry Profile creation date.

If you look through this thread there are several of us that have not seen any movement on their app despite being drawn in first round, applying within a week or 2 and creating a profile at the beginning of January.


I'm beginning to think it is based on NOC code, summer season is coming on, certain occupations will be very busy and possibly current WP expiry. Some have minimal time remaining on WP, I have till March 2017

i think its based on category and noc also...cause everybody that applied under FST didnt have any movement at all on their applications!

True. I think it is pretty much about category. I read another forum(my country) and see people have medical pass and background check In pro even they submitted on Mar 20th. That drive me insane. And there is a guy invited under CEC and he is a cook. He had aready BC in pro. Lol i have no idea what CIC is thinking.

I'm really starting to wonder if we people who were mistakenly added to FSW and moved to CEC in mid February may be somehow lost in the system.

The only things I saw was Ecas active and Background check changed from not needed to not started other than that nothing. One positive is I can use my UCI and File numbers to log into e-Cas guess that better than others

Is it based on profile created date?

I've created on Jan 30th 2015... but there is no change in status ...

Medicals are posted to CIC from CIC recommended physician on March 10th 2015 as I've confirmation when I contacted them personally .

Still my status has not been changed .... from the day 1
