Also same here.

Are you two CECs too?

I wonder if they're holding CECs back because we're much simpler to verify than FSWs? Or is that just wishful thinking. :)

I'm FST with Canadian journeyman certificates, experience and knowledge has been verified in order to obtain Journeyman certificates with Red Seal endorsement. Also have a job in Canada and LMIA, I'd have thought my app would have been pretty simple to process???

If someone who has got ITA under FSW category has got the list of documents to be uploaded , kindly publish. Is it true that every document has to be scanned and uploaded and no need of hard copies for eg: IELTS score card. Please help.

Yes, Every document has to be scanned and uploaded. As of now they are not even requesting soft copy of IELTS. I am guessing they are picking the data from IELTS database using the IELTS Form number.

Right but if FSTP is also relatively simple it would possibly make sense for them to start ours later?

If, for instance, you aim to complete the first batch in 2 months you'd probably want to start with the ones that would take a long time and a lot of verification and paperwork. The ones which would only take a week of verification could then be left until the end.

I wonder if any other CECs or FSTPs have seen any progress.

Hi All,

I am currently in US and want to get Police Clearance Certificate.

From what I understand, I need to fill and send out the "Applicant Information Form", along with my fingerprints and fee.

My question is how do I get my fingerprints done? Is the an approved list of vendors who could take my fingerprints?

i think would be fair they process the applications that came first!!!

I agree nata_cap, and this is exactly what we expected of them but doesn't seem like the case.

I was in first draw under FSW submitted everything on 16th feb but have not got any update except eligibility in progress until now.

I am pretty damn sure they would have received our medicals at least and they should update that but they seems to be too lazy to change Not needed at this time even for the medicals.

Even moving to in progress helps .... >:( >:(

i totally agree...even your background check didnt change?

unfortunately, no.
Background check says "not started"

My NOC was 2174 and I was expecting my draw in CEC but got FSW instead since I was eligible for both.

You need to go to a nearest Police Station or you can find the list on the FBI website.

Updated on CIC website on 9-March-2015:

Citizenship and Immigration Canada does not accept FBI police certificates issued by FBI-approved third party private companies. Only police certificates issued directly by the FBI will be accepted.

Hi Guys,

I have done my Bachelor degree (BCOM) and Master degree (MCA) from India.
Do I need to evaluate both the degree for Express Entry or only the highest degree that is MCA ?
