Here is my timeline.

31 JAN received ITA for FSW
14 FEB application submitted
14 FEB AOR
14 FEB eligibility review in progress
28 FEB backgroundcheck not started
01 MAR Request Language Docs

Looks like ppl who have taken celpip are asked to send the document to cic. I have read this before in this forum.

I already uploaded my CELPIP scanned doc in the education documents, maybe that is why they didn't ask me yet.
I submitted on 16th Feb
Got AOR on 26th Feb and nothing after that.

Worried why they are taking long for my application, they didn't even started the background check.

My story is pretty much exactly the same as yours so either don't worry or worry for both of us.

I submitted my application on Feb 19th and got AOR the next day.

It stiil says "Not needed at this time" at my Background check.

The help icon says:
"Not needed at this time means we have not yet received an application for permanent residence. You need an invitation to apply before you can submit an application for permanent residence."

What does it mean? Maybe it's because the background certificate was sent direct from my embassy to them and I only uploaded a confirmation (My country doesn't send direct to applicants)?

Jan 31 - received ITA
Mar 3 - submitted my application (CEC)
Mar 3 - AOR
Mar 4 - got a message from CIC requesting to send my Celpip exam result
Current status - review in progress

I wonder how many days it would update to background check. Did u guys receive email when your status changed to background check in process?

Guys can you please tell me how we get AOR..

Once payment is done we get receipt is it receipt number is AOR ?

on payment receipt there is a reference number is it that one?

after payment made in MYCIC I got a email there is one more number but they mentioned it as Transaction reference number.....Is it transaction reference number reference to AOR?

I'm bit confused let me know which one you people are thinking of AOR
