You can answer NO to that question.. I had the same situation & answered NO in my application & my application is almost thru..Patica said:Hello,
My application to PR in 2014 was returned because the cap was reached.
I've received ITA now. There is a question if I had applied for PR before. Should I ask YES or NO???
I've seen different opinions about it. Please, help
Thank you!Satsu said:You can answer NO to that question.. I had the same situation & answered NO in my application & my application is almost thru..
What makes you think it means your application has been refused? There have been a lot of glitches with CIC's system lately. So unless you actually see a refusal i don't think it means any thing.plzhelp said:My previous post:-
CIC sent me letter that they want my daughter renewed passport copy within 7 days. I have applied my daughter passport on October 26 2015 in South Africa and its still under process. I have proof from Passport Department that I have applied. What will happened they will reject my application???
Action:-
I submitted explanation letter + proof that passport is under process since october 26 2015.
now eCAS LOGIN PROBLEM. I CAN'T SEE STATUS IF I USE APPLICATION NO. IF I USE UCI THEN IT ONLY showing my address. That means my application has been refused.
thanks a lot fklfkl said:What makes you think it means your application has been refused? There have been a lot of glitches with CIC's system lately. So unless you actually see a refusal i don't think it means any thing.
It's a breakdown, happening to everyone's ECAS now. Check out this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/updated-topics/-t381690.0.html;topicseenLive2smile said:Hey people. I can't check my ECAS, it says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided". Sounds like they haven't started my application yet, but I have already passed my medicals and background check is in progress. Why I can't log in Ecas then?
Any updates?JK_CAD said:We almost have a similar timelines. Hang in there. You might have to wait till Jan/Feb.
Yeah should be fine.sunshinejan said:Hi guys,
Can someone please help me understand what does CIC mean by "certified translation"?
In my country there is no such thing as certified translation, only notarized. Will that suffice?
Please help.
Thank you.
So I don't have to find a certified translator somewhere in Canada to do the job?fkl said:Yeah should be fine.
