More good news today -- my wife and I just got ppr! It's such a huge relief, as our original CEC application was among those returned in February. I was super worried about EE, yet now, instead of December, we could be landed by the first week of June! Pretty amazing.

Congrats to everyone else who's received good news, and good luck to everyone else -- your time will surely come soon!

In case this is of interest to others, we received the ppr a week after submitting Schedule A. Our ECAS is still in process and MyCIC hasn't changed either, but the ppr is there, black on white. ;D ;D ;D

Congrats buddy for your PPR. Do not forget to update the spreasheet, if you do not have the update link, send a PM to me with the columns needs to be update, I will do that for you.

@mam2015, this answers you from what I have told you yesterday. Don't be offended. I am not an expert though and I agree to the fact that no one knows the exact pattern.

My ECAS changed to Application Received today, I only have two lines in there thus far. Secondly, background check in mycic changed to Not Started yesterday. However, there's still no update on my medicals, should I be concerned about this? My details are given below:

I have this situation on my case:

Application/profile status - Open
Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
Review of medical results - Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents - No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview - Not needed at this time
A background check is needed - Not Started
A final decision has been reached - Not Started

I applied on March 21 and got Acknowledgement of receipt on March 26 and still any changes. Already about 2 months and nothing. Maybe somebody know why?

Hello everyone!

First and foremost, congratulations to those who are closer to the final step!
Secondly, kudos to those who are continuously persistent , it pays!
It's amazing to see all of us encouraging each other, taking out the time to share each others' doubts and clarifying them!
Yesterday I was worried as my additional doc couldn't get submitted and they only gave me 7 days in total, woke up today morning and tried afresh after two days, it worked! They may not have replied to my CSE but they sure took swift action . Another update happened today and its says medicals passed. So here's my story:

EE profile created: 31st March
Category: Outland FSW
Score at the time :471 (now 479 with my TEF results )
ITA : 10th April Draw under FSW
Application submitted : 15th MAY
Electronic AOR and Application processing: 16th May
Review: In Progress
Requested to upload passport again: requested on 25th May --> Provided 26th May
Medical: Not needed at this time --> Passed 26th MAY
Everything else: not needed at this time/not started

Guys, I must tell you that I have no Canadian work experience, I'm not from a technical NOC, I only pride myself in my linguistics education but EVERYONE , all agents, friends told me I could never make it, but here I am Some of you have much better profiles and credentials, we"ll all get there . My fiance is in Canada, awaiting his PR under BC PNP (hoping for PPR in 1 month). We have lived in long distance for 5 and a half years and until express entry, there was no hope of being able to re-unite for 2 more years as spouse visa after his PR and our wedding would also have taken about 2 years . Now I can go to him by November and get married!
The almighty had a better plan, and I'm sure he does for all of us, have faith and keep strong, good luck!!

Well, I am new member of this forum and was just going through different threads of this forum.
I have yet to create my EE profile, so AOR is not at all in any existence at this moment.
But after reading your story, it gave me lot of confidence, as few of local agents with whom I met, they have also rejected my possibilities of canada immigration saying my occupation is not valid and all such b******t things.
But, now with your example I can see that if we persist and believe in ourselves then surely we can achieve our dream.
