Hi All,
I want to really understand what you guys think about this.I have received my ITA and currently I'm filling the next set of forms. I'm in a fix about how to represent data in the below 3 sections -
1. Address History
This section asks me for all addresses that I have lived in for the last 10 years. What if I came from Philippines (Country of study) to India (Home Country) & stopped for 2 nights in Singapore (visiting sister, friends etc.)? Now though my Singapore visit can be proven by the stamp in my passport, do I need to mention it here? My brain says no as Singapore never became my 'address' per se, but please share what you think. Same case when I was in Canada for 4 months then travelled to US for a week before coming back to India. I don't think I'd need to list the hotel's address in US.
2. Personal Activities
This section asks me to list the activities that I was doing in the last 10 years. What if I was vacationing, looking for jobs, on a term break etc? For eg, in my term break in Philippines, I first travelled to Singapore, stayed for 2 days, then travelled to India, stayed for 10 days, then travelled back to Singapore, stayed for 2 days & then went back to Philippines. I obviously have all these stamps on my passport, but do I need to mention all these details in this section? My brain again says no as I wasn't engaged in any 'activity' per se while in Singapore or for that matter, even while in India. I think I should just mention what I was broadly doing in that time period, which is 'Studying in the Philippines', but I don't know how to handle the change of country in that time period. Please share what you think.
3. Travel History
This is still relatively simple than the above sections. I am required to fill details of all trips taken outside my country of origin or residence. Now do I here mention 2 day stop-overs in countries on transit? Also, surprisingly, there are no stamps on my passport when I have left Canada and US (in fact, for one trip, I can't even locate the admitted into US stamp!) But in all, there are just 12 trips outside of India & I think its manageable, even if I mention all of them.
Many of you have passed this step already. Hence I'm looking forward for some guidance here. Please help!
