Happy for you... congrats!!!! :)

Congratulations Hipchick!

Finally a PR of Canada, now I can go take on the world....lol
Congratulations to all who got PPR and COPR.

Congrats on the PPR guys :) :)!!

I have a few questions.

1. I completed my Express Entry profile yesterday and was directed to register for the Job Bank.

However, despite later registering and receiving a confirmation email that I had successfully registered my profile status

is still showing Job Bank pending. Is something wrong????

2. When filling out my profile I could not remember some of my previous work experience dates exactly.

Specifically, I could not remember a few of the Months (from 2003 and 2005). I plan to contact my previous places of employment this week

to request job letters. My question is, should a draw take place say tomorrow which includes my score and I have the wrong months for a

few of them would I be band for inaccurate information or could I write a letter and explain and correct the dates on any form I need to fill

out??

Thanks for the help

OR should I delete my profile and wait till I get the job letters from previous employers to ensure the dates are accurate??

TishFaith, re #2, Only mention work experience that you need for points. That work from 2000 to 2003 doesn't need to be mentioned because you only get points for work in the last 10 years. If you have 3+ years experience in one NOC code then use that and save yourself the trouble. The other work history can be put in the personal history section of the PR application. This would allow you to get the points you need and prevent you from having to get job letters.

For the job bank, you got the confirmation code and everything? Sometimes it takes 24 hours for the systems to align.

Thanks Yampower

So I should delete the job prior to 2005. Then after ITA I should write it in personal history?

Would CIC not ask why I did not include the prior job in 2005 given that they will see in my personal history for PPR?

Is there a Watsapp group for Jamaica?

I got a request to submit Schedule A on September 22, and submitted on the 23rd. I know each application is unique, but what is the estimated timeframe from Schedule A request to Decision Made?

I hope you're right Candy85. Not that i'm complaining, but they seem to be moving really fast with my application. I'm Inland FSW with August 18th AOR. I didn't expect to get Schedule A request this early.

No they wouldn't be concerned about that. The point of the profile is to put you into the pool for points.

E.g. From 2003 to 2005 I lived in the UK and worked as a hotel receptionist (NOC level D I think). That job wasn't mentioned in my EE profile because it wouldn't have given me points. When I did the actual application, I put it in the personal history section. The PH section gives you an opportunity to disclose all your activities; don't leave gaps. If you were unemployed then put that time and say seeking employment or unemployed.
