Express Entry and PhD stream

Anyone knows if the PhD stream still exists under the express entry?

I am only able to submit my application with the current PhD stream by November. However, I am afraid that they are already reaching the cap (only 500 for PhD stream)

So I am planning to apply under the express entry. However I could not find anything about the PhD stream.

Hi I don't think they reach the cap by November ,check this link
"cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp"

it says :Applications received toward the overall cap: 58 of 500 (as of September 12, 2014).
