Hi all,
I am in the process of creating my express entry profile for FSW along with my partner. My partner is the primary applicant.
We have a few questions with regards to this:
1) Both of us have completed our Masters in Australia. We have only got our Masters degree assessed by WES (undergrad/Bachelors from India not assessed). We got a positive assessment with Canadian masters equivalency. When filling the EE profile, should we fill details for Bachelors under the Study section or would only Masters be sufficient since we only have a WES assessment for our Masters degree?
2) With regards to work experience, my partner has 7 years of work experience however, he does not have sufficient documentation (pay stubs, tax returns) for 4 of the 7 years. Should he include all his work experience in the work history section when filling the EE profile? Or is it okay to put in details of the 3 years of work experience he wants to claim for? (he has proper documentation only for the 3 years)
3) I am the secondary applicant and I do not have any work experience in Canada. So, I do not want to add any information regarding my work experience in the Work history section. Would this create problems?
We have an agent helping us with our application but they are advising us to get our bachelors assessed by WES as well (because apparently if not, the system will not accept our EE profile). We do not want to do this as we have the highest degree (Masters) assessed.
Apart from that, though we have insufficient documentation for part of our work history (as mentioned above), they insist that we add all information in the EE profile and explain in the LOE that we are unable to collect supporting documents and are advising us to submit a statutory declaration. They consider not mentioning ALL information in EE as hiding information and none of their other clients have "hidden" any information before in the EE.
Our understanding is that the more information we fill in the EE, the more documentation needed and hence more scrutiny. We want to avoid filling extra and unnecessary information in the EE which do not fetch any extra points.
We are very confused and worried at the moment. It would be great if anyone could help us with these questions.
Thank you very much.
