Hi everyone!

I was wondering if any resident experts can help me. I'm in the process of creating my express entry profile for Canadian Experience Class.
I have also applied for common law PR with my partner.

This is where it gets confusing. In my express entry profile, they ask me about my relationship status. I was wondering if I should select "Single/Never Married"
or "Common Law" even though I have applied for Common Law because there is no point in including my Canadian Citizen partner in a visa that doesn't require anything from her...

Can anyone shed some light on this? In my profile it's now asking for information on her even though she is a citizen and I'm applying on my own behalf
through work and qualifications.

Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance!

If your partner is a citizen you're treated as a single applicant. If you're common-law, is there any reason you're applying for PR through EE and not spousal sponsorship?

Thanks! So I should select single/never married?

I am also applying through common law but express entry is faster and I already paid for my education credentials language test etc

You shouldn't apply for PR twice...pick one and go with it.
