Express entry - After receiving ITA

Hello Everyone!

I am new here. Tried to find similar post, but unfortunately could not. Sorry if my question has already been asked earlier.

I have submitted my application for express entry and was in the pool. Then I received an invitation to apply. Going over all documents I found that my spouse work experience was incorrect.
It was stated that he started his job in June 2018 and finished in January 2019. His next job started right after this (January 2019).
However, we made a mistake and accidentally input wrong month. He started working from June 2018, but finished in February 2019 and then started new job from February.
How do you think will be that a problem if we have updated that after we received ITA?

As I read on the cic website that you cannot update anything after you receive ITA. Please help as I almost inputed all information and now don’t know what to do. Do I need to start my application from beginning?

Hi. I got my ITA this morning. I went on to complete the PR application. You cannot change the info that you have already submitted. However, a lot of the same information needs to be input again in the PR application including work history.

My suggestion would be to input the correct info this time and add an explanation in your LOE about the mistake you made in the EE profile earlier. I think it will not matter much if it would not have decreased your CRS score before receiving the ITA, in which case, it will be misrepresentation.
