Hi Joelmath,joelmath said:Hi Munjal,
Thank you for the feedback. By country of origin do you mean nationality/citizenship? It will of-course provide a nationality-wise breakdown of Inland entries that have selected Canada as country of residence. I am failing to visualize how that would help in understanding/analysing processing time calculations. Can you clarify a bit more?
@Other forum members do you have further suggestions for the spreadsheet. As Munjal pointed out the spreadsheet is still in its early stages and at this point we can play around with the data points without much impact.
Thank you @munjal for the suggestions. The designation/Job title column seems like going into too much detail at the moment. I have added new sections for Nationality and Date of EE profile creation to the data collection form.munjal said:Hi Joelmath,
yes, you got it correct, I mean to say... Country of nationality/citizenship...
Because applicants applying from within Canada will all mention as "inland applicant".. and country of residence will be Canada for them, same may be true for people living in country different than their nationality.. for ex, there are many Indians working in middle-east countries. The same will hold true for them also.
If you can add a separate column of "Country of nationality/citizenship, then it will exactly give the number of applicants applying country-wise based on their nationality/citizenship..
It is very much similar to the mid-year report of CIC.
You can check it here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/reports/ee-midyear-2015.asp
Few more things have came up in my mind... just wanted to share it with you... I am sure you are open for feedbacks/suggestions, thats why I am sharing it here with you..
A single NOC carries many job titles, so if another column for " designation/job title of primary NOC" can be added, this will give more clarity about NOC-wise and designation-wise distribution of applicants.
I think you have made a fantastic effort while preparing this spreadsheet/s and I am sure it will serve as a comprehensive data pool for we,applicants to refer for each and every draw.
Also, you can add one column for "date EE profile created".
I appreciate your proactive approach..joelmath said:Thank you @munjal for the suggestions. The designation/Job title column seems like going into too much detail at the moment. I have added new sections for Nationality and Date of EE profile creation to the data collection form.
Keep them coming
Hi JoacRy, yes this spreadsheet is for post ITA processing. There was a spreadsheet on this forum that was created for those waiting for ITA. There are 2 issues with such a spreadsheet:JoacRy said:Hi joelmath, is it possible to modify the spreadsheet for applicants waiting for an ITA? It seems this is only for people in the post ITA stage.
Good suggestion @caddr, it does make it easier for people to find other applicants with closer AOR dates. It cannot be fixed as its one of the limitations of google spreadsheet. A new entry is always added to a new row based on Timestamp. With that said, all users can very easily sort the entries based on app submission dates. Simply select the Sort A-Z from the dropdown on "J" column. The same applies to any other column within the spreadsheet.caddr said:Good work Joelmath...but can i make one suggestion that can you please arrange the entries in order of app submission as that will give a more clearer picture
@kvr007 . Its done. Thank you for the suggestionkvr007 said:Hi,
Can you make username and category columns freeze. If I go far right in the spread sheet it makes difficult to compare certain things with other applicants.
Thanks
Just out of curiosity, if you need my help in maintaining this spreadsheet... I will be more than happy to do it..joelmath said:@kvr007 . Its done. Thank you for the suggestion
