I am Canadian citizen and my future spouse, U.S. citizen, is immigrating to Canada to live with me via outland spousal application.

For the Appendix C: Medical appointment, once the exam happens and is passed, can the passed exam results expire? Are they only good for a certain amount of time? Like a year, then you have to get another one?

Yes, it's a year. But should be at CIC-M within 3 months (I believe, not 100% on that though)

Parker24, I think the 3 months rule is only true for the police certificates. When we submitted our application, his medicals were 5 months old already, since it took us a tad longer to put the application together. But his eCAS shows medicals received. So I guess it was OK.

May I correct you Parker (your so close :D)

Medical is valid for one year from date of examination.

Police Criminal Check is valid for one year from date of check but must be submitted within 3 months of date of check.

*In my opinion, it is best to do these last before submitting your application so that you get the most out of the validity period.

Good luck!

Thanks girls! I knew it was something like that! I got the one year validity correct at least :)
