Yes I applied on January 13th 2022 from Nigeria, still no Reply I also have a valid US visa so I am under the CAN+ criteria so I don’t understand

They will decide how your application is processed. Even with CAn+, there really is no such thing as expedited processing right now due to backlogs.

My friend tried to extend/restore his study permit one month after it expired and it was rejected.
So, can he still reapply for study permit extension? Does he have to leave Canada?

So he has not status in Canada so he must have stoped studying and working when it expired. When did study permit expire? If within last 90 days he must restore status and then apply to extend permit. If not, he leaves.

His study permit expired by the end of June. He applied for extension in July and he just received the reply letter from Immigration that said it was rejected.

So based on this he applied to restore his status and restoration was refused.

He needs to leave Canada. He cannot extend his study permit from inside of Canada.
