Expired TRV advice.

Hello,

My previous TRV expired with my old WP in April, 2020. My new WP arrived in Sept 2020 and I applied to renew TRV in Dec 2020. I don't have any updates as of now. Does anyone know whether I can travel to home country (India) right now and get my TRV stamped from there?

1. You could, but note that the processing time posted for India is 200 days, so you maybe waiting in the queue, while the posted time for Canada is 64 days, so I would wait it out in Canada.

Thanks so much for your reply! unfortunately it's a family emergency and I might have to fly anyway. Someone told me once the approval comes , I could it get it stamped at any VAC, do you know whether that's possible?

It's been well over 64 days so I'm thinking of calling CIC anyway and see if possible, how the process could be sped up.
