Expired student visa

Hi All,

My situation now is:
1- my student visa is expired.
2- my study permit is still valid and it will expired in February 2014.

I will leave Canada at the end of January 2014, and I will never come back again.

My question is do I need to renew my student visa?

Are you applying for another program? If thats the case, apply through online route. If you have no pending admission, you have to leave the country to reapply as its illegal to overstay your visa.

no u dont need to extend ur visa as long as ur study permit is valid and u dont plan to leave and reenter canada.

Just to let you know that my student visa expired in August 2013. Would that be a problem?

no problem...visa is required to enter the country and a permit (work,visitors,study) to legally stay in canada
