Hi All,

I have PRV and CoPR expiring in 2 weeks and haven't booked flight yet. Is there any relaxation on expired PRV and CoPR as Canada have mandatory hotel quarantine.
And does anyone have experience traveling to Canada after mandatory hotel quarantine?

Thanks.

No one has experience traveling to Canada after mandatory hotel quarantine.

It doesn't start until next week.

I got info from travel agents that if you are travelling to Canada it have to be direct flight (e.g. it can not have transit via Europe) after Feb 22 2021?
Does anyone have Idea about it.
P.S. Will be traveling from India!!!

Thank you.

Did not hear of any requirement from Canadian Government that it has to be a direct flight. Ask your travel agent for the source of that info.

Yes only direct flight from Delhi to Toronto /Vancouver under airbubble agreement between India and Canada will allow you to board the flight in India. If you are from other city then you can book from xyz city - Delhi-Toronto / Vancouver ( Air Canada or Air India Only).

I hadn't seen the "bubble" before, thanks for sharing.

Called KLM they say there is no such restriction, one can book flight if one meets Canada's requirements to travel. Better to use Air Canada to be or safer side :(

I understood this was a restriction on the Indian side, not the airlines. So booking a flight may not guarantee you will be allowed to board.

I'm not certain about this, but to check carefully.
