Expired Passport question

Hi Everyone,

I would like to share my scenario that I'm experiencing now, after receiving passport request.

I have received passport request after approving my PR. While sending passports to CIC, I noticed that one of my dependant passport is expiring in less than 6 months. And CIC specifically stated that passport should be minimum 6 months valid. In order to cover up that, I have applied for renew of passport and received with in 1 day from my country embassy.

Now my question is, should I send the new passport of my dependant along with old passport? or should I need to update new passport details some where else and then need to send them? Or is there any different approach that I need to follow?

Please advise me if any one have come across the same issue!

write an email to the address in PPR email that you have got the new passport for your dependent. send the new passport of the dependent.

Hello.. im submitting my visa application for canada but my passport validity is less than 6mos. What shall I do? I have to process my application because Im attending convention this month in Canada..
