any body how guide me in this issue, MAY GOD BLESS him/her in this regard.

I am coming back to Ontario after a long time , with my family, all health cards has been expired.
I am coming to stay permanantely.
delivery is due after 45 days.

will the hospital will take the CASE/ patient?
so how much i have to pay in hospital?
will i get any refund latter?

Thanks.

Yes - you can certainly get care at a hospital. You should expect to pay $7,000 to $10,000 for the delivery of your child (provided there are no complications).

No - you will not receive a refund later. Any health care you receive within the first 3 months of returning to Canada will not be covered.

As mentioned you will not be covered for OHIP and you will not be reimbursed for your hospital costs.

What you should do is as soon as you get back to Ontario, immediately contact all the nearest midwife offices you can find, and see if they will take you on as a patient. Midwife services are free to all of those in Ontario, even if you don't have OHIP coverage. If you do a home birth and everything goes well the delivery will be completely free. If you deliver at the hospital with a midwife the cost will be significantly cheaper since no doctors are involved and you can be discharged just 4 hours or so after the birth (again assuming no complications or c-section are involved).

Since midwives are in very high demand in most Ontario cities, the chances of actually getting one so late in pregnancy is slim to none... but still worth it to try if you want to save money.
