I'm also in the same boat!!!
My IELTS expired on 27th July 2020 but still i didn't receive any email regarding my profile deemed ineligible.
Event CRS score remains unchanged. Points still been awarded for language.
I wonder if IRCC has changed anything for applicants whose IELTS are expired in this pandemic time. This would be great to have IELTS validity extended for lets say 6 months !!!! I Wish!!!

Really? How I wish! Haha unfortunately I cant open my express entry because my agent won't give me. Thats why im only relying on email for updates.
I'm on the process of waiting my nominations.
