Hi all,
My situation is kinda weird. Submitted online application for my wife Aug 08th, Biometrics done Aug 14 (have the tracking number). Since then, no updates at all. Submitted CSE expressing my worries that biometrics might not have been received, response: "We are happy to confirm that the information you provided was transferred to the responsible office. Rest assured that they will communicate with you if further information is required"
Contacted the visa office, response:
Please note we are facing technical issues regarding receiving the biometrics results. As soon as your biometrics are completed, we will be notified immediately and action the file for next steps.
Yesterday was the last day of the 1 month period required to provide biometrics, so the status of mycic changed to "We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details"
I don't really know what to do? It is super weird. Anybody experienced that before? any thoughts?
Bryanna, would you please help?

Hi,

When did you receive this communication? The visa office had not received your wife's biometrics at that time.

so the status of mycic changed to "We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details"
It seems VFS has goofed up. I suggest you contact VFS (with the tracking number) and request them to resend the biometrics to the visa office for your wife's country of residence/territory. As biometrics is image processing/digital data, VFS should be able to resend it. If this is not possible then VFS must allow your wife to provide new biometrics immediately.

You can also email the visa office stating the tracking number + send a CSE for this

Cheers

Thanks a lot Bryanna, would they refuse the application even if its not our fault?
