Please someone help me.

I have little debt (not big) in UK :'( while I stayed there. Now residing in KSA for last 3 years. Just wondering, if I apply Canadian Immigration, would it be a problem for me when my application assesses in London. :-[

Just had a look in Application, there is nothing like money defaulter question in the forms. 8)

Please give your expert advice. :)

Regards

Have you been declared defaulter by UK ? If not, then there is no need to worry. Visa officer is concerned about the "free funds" which every applicant should have, for details refer to their website. Best of luck

If the banks have not filed criminal charges against you and you can get a Police Clearance Certificate from there, then technically no problem. On a personal note, if you feel the debt is not "Big"; then as a moral obligation pay it off. Small things some times cause big hurdles, and it is morally not right either.

Thanks Mirza,
I am onto your suggestions. I believe there is no criminal charges. But i will recheck while asking my mates in UK to open my postal mails(if any comes) to see whats inside. Debt is under 10,000GBP. I will reconsider to pay off by minimum payments. Thanks for your advise though.

Good luck to you guys in your proceedings. :)
