Hello All,
I am working on my EE profile right now and have some questions on the same. Here is my situation:
I completed my MS in US and currently working fulltime in US itself. Last year my company wanted me to travel to Canada for working at our Canada location and they applied for an ICT visa for me which got approved. But due to some reasons, I didn't move and continued to work in US. I never crossed the border. Now, I am working on my EE profile by myself and have some questions on the same:
1. While studying in US from 2013 - 2015, I worked as a full time intern from 2014-2015 for 40 hours per week. At the same time, I was enrolled as a fulltime student and claimed 3 credits for the 1 year of internship while rest of the courses I took online. I graduated in 2015. Now, I understand that if you're applying under CEC - fulltime intern work done while you were a student in Canada is not accepted but for FSW it is accepted. Correct ? Also, I read in several threads that while filling the EE profile, I will get an option to select 'full time' student for a work experience if I was a student at that time but I am not getting that in my account. Is there something I am missing here ? Please guide me.
2. About POF- I have enough money to show as liquid for POF and its all from my salary savings but the only dilemma I have is about the car loan. I have about 22 K CAD to show in POF but also have a car loan of about 34 K CAD from the same bank. Can you please advise me if this holds a negative impact on my application and if yes, then how should I proceed with this ?
3. Since I already have a ICT WP and there are good chances I will move to Canada for a project may be 2-3 months from now. So if that happens and I already have my EE profile in queue then how will that be accommodated by CIC ? Is it going to impact my application in a negative way or will it just nullify the criteria in which I will apply now. Please advise.
Apologies for such a long post but please help me out here based on your expertise.
Thanks in advance.
