As u all know ALLAHMDULIALH i got visa but i didn't go to Canada due to personal matters
now my question is that recently i got Creden Evalution letter for Memorial university ( MUN) which is of no use :'(
Now MUN is saying me to do 4 year BBA program but i have already done 2 year B.com from Karachi university. i don't want to do it as it is tooooooo long so i am planning for 2 years diploma IN TORONTO so whether i will be eligible for PR after 2 yrs diploma or not?

Hi,

Whether you do diploma or degree or Masters from a recognized Canadian educational institute.. to get PR you have to usually get a skilled job, work for some time (0-12 months depending upon the student immigration programme) and then apply under that particular immigration programme. After 2 years of Diploma, you will have to apply for a PGWP(post Grad Work permit), which you will get for 3 years, and then start working and apply for a particular student immigration programme such as CEC-Canadian Experience Class or 1 of many provincial nomination programmes, depending upon your personal situation.

To know more about recognized Canadian educational institutes eligible for both PGWP and OCWP see:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/participants.asp

To know more about various student immigration options see:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/various-immigration-programmes-for-international-students-in-canada-t100908.0.html
Here you will get Official links of all student immigration programmes (Federal CEC and other Provinces), and see for yourself, which suits you most/where you may like to study/apply for PR etc.

Hope it helps.

Best of Luck.
